Same kinda thing happen in my biology class when we had to disect rats (oh the irony, a rat fur disecting a rat, and apparently the anatomy class had to disect cats which would also have been ironic if i had to do it). No one really freaked out much but some people were a little resistant to do it (the other option was something like looking in a book and filling in a work sheet about it). That was a great thing you did for that girl. Good luck on those finals. (think summer) ^.^

I never did dissection even though I took biology in high school. Instead we just looked at microscopic organisms and learned how earthworms had sex(Seriously).

I never disected frogs....our school many kids objects by savin frogs and other animals so our school and many others abondoned disections in class...so we had tests instead T_T
