Pulling the rug out
Sometimes I think I'm starting to get too far ahead and live likes to come along and pull the rug from under me. I was recently told by one of my managers that my department is being consolidated and instead of two sites for the Sears Anti-fraud department, we will only have one. Unfortunately for me and my coworkers, they chose the site 2000 miles from me. So August 31st looks to be my last day with Citi, after a 3 and a half year stint with them, it comes to this, getting kicked out when jobs are so hard to find.
I've been thinking of moving for almost a year now, and maybe this is the time to do it. If I can fix up my custody stuff, I may move. If I can't the furthest I can go is Phoenix, AZ. It won't be hard, just have to figure out how to file, haven't seen or heard from my Ex in years so I shouldn't have too much trouble. If i can get it settled I'm not sure where I'll go, maybe Colorado or northeast coast. Not really sure, I have some time to decide, but need to start planning now.
I guess I just need to keep on trucking. Gotta start looking at my options and start making plans. Consequently if any of you know of anyone who has need for someone who just did 3 and a half years in Anti-Fraud work, please let me know.
Thanx for listening.
