All I would say is draw what you want, check out art you like and see about looking online for 'How to draw' stuff. Often you tube can be helpful with those fast forward videos as it shows what areas to start drawing from, usually it's like the head first but It all depends on what works for you. :>

Ah yeah streams are good to watch. Also sometimes the artist can give hints and tips if you ask in the chat. :)
Yeah I feel like that with my art, but luckily I don't have to worry about making money from it so I don't mind. :)

what I done was trace an existing image, then tried copying, then started doing stuff without references and stuff

not descriptive, I know, but it worked.
