Yeah, I got caught up following all the journals that people have been posting, and have seen a range of opinions from opposing viewpoints. Im certainly not saying that I have all the information out there as I post this, but I am going to say a few words about it myself...
1. EVERYTHING WE DO is going to offend SOMEBODY. Even something as simple as a band you like or dont like can cause insane, defensive reactions from people with a different opinion.
2. If we were to live our lives in such a way that we would never offend anyone, we would be on edge, worried, anxious, and suffer a lot of stress and mental trials struggling as we are to keep the world happy. We would be sacrificing our happiness and peace of mind to acheive such a goal.
3. If we are to be truly free creatures, we must grow and realise that the right to offend people is one of these. If you dont want to look at an image of your religious figure, dont do it. If you dont wanna see Jesus porn (which I admit even I find disturbing) dont look at it. Our freedom is worth more than a few people who are gonna be pissed off for a while and the MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIVES LIKE MATURE ADULTS.
We have the ability to look at things objectively. We have the ability to ignore things that we dislike and allow other people to have their opinions as well.
And I dont know why everyone is chewing out the FA admins.. for once, I honestly cannot find fault with the admins on the way they handled things today, seeing Dragoneer's comments on some journals, I feel that theyre being very reasonable about all the bawwing.

I think I saw it on Cracked.
You're either offending someone by doing something that just happens to offend them, or you're offending someone because you aim to offend them.
The first case: Offended person should stfu and gtfo unless it's something illegal, in which case they should stfu, gtfo and go report it.
The second case: Whoever is doing something just to provoke is a major dick and quite a bully, and are abusing their "right to free speech" to amuse themselves with the distress they cause others.
