boya, you should never let your family change who you are, just to appease them, when my family found out, they were totally against it, and during an argument i had with my grandparents about it i gave the whole family two options "accept me for who i am, or don't, i couldn't care less of your opinions."

you seem to love your family more than i love mine, but you really should announce something more tame, but along those lines, people change gradually over many years, you are an individual who should stand out.

your family is always the hardest to come out to though, friends will come and go your whole life, getting your family to accept you fro being who you are is tricky, you'll always have friends here on FA, just as you will always have family irl.
