Late night raging, away!

So I've noticed... On every single screencap someone took from SL, and uploaded it to e621... There is ALWAYS someone saying:

lol second life fail

And that is a direct quote that I have copy and pasted off of a comment.

First: Now, some people argue that Second Life screenshots ≠ Art. I will agree: If you have a generic fox character that you can get from a vendor, and put them in a premade pose, then no, it's not really art... And thats what most of SL screenshots are. However some people do make their own CUSTOM avatars... And really, if it is made by the person that is uploading it- how is that different than someone using a modeling program to make 3D art?

Second: People will always say Second Life is shit, it fails, its SO GHEY LOLZ. But what pisses me off is, they give absolutely no reason as to why. And furthermore, I'm willing to bet the lot of the people that dog it, have not even tried to play it.

Just some midnight ranting I had to get off my chest.

This was just too perfect for me not to put in. It's real hypocritical of furries to make fun of other furries that play Second Life... It's just counterintuitive to trying to be accepted by the masses. If we can't defend others in your fandom, how are you going to defend your fandom as a whole?
