Elliot's, and fursuit

Keeping things brief, Elliot's Spring Gathering was awesome. The amount of free stuff we got was frankly astounding, and spending time with everyone was a blast. Catching up with work for Tech is going to be excruciating though, not at all looking forward to that.
In other news, while I was there I talked with Petorawolf on a random happenstance before he drove back, aaaaand long story short I'm going to be getting a fursuit! Kinda a bit earlier than I had planned to ever get one, and it wasn't really in my budget, but it was a good price and I took advantage of the deal while it was still valid. Now to see how I can get some reference pictures made...
The fursuit deal is outlined here - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1411718/ - Kiwi is doing the head and feet, while Pet does the body. Best part is that Pet lives within walking distance of my apartment on campus, so getting dimensions measured and such will be relatively painless.
Definitely looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

There's no real date yet, but from what I've been told, they're planning on working relatively quickly (by only taking on a few slots at a time). I think he might have thrown out "ten weeks" as a rough figure, but I don't really remember the context that it was spoken in, so that could be horribly horribly wrong. It's not really a time-critical thing for me since I won't be going to any major events for the next several months anyway.
