iPhone vs. Droid vs. Blackberry. Tell me your experiences!
So I'm gonna be getting a new phone soon (if anyone has actually seen my current phone, you'll know why). I'm personally very impressed with the Droid, but I'm just looking for some of your experiences to know what you like. Also, if there's another smartphone that you like, feel free to share with me :3
I'm currently with AT&T, but I'll gladly switch to another plan.
Thanks everyone!

I'm a little iffy on a touch screen because I wonder how long it'll take for them to lose their sensitivity. But I guess since the majority of smartphones have touch screens, its not that big of an issue. Thanks for the info!
Even if I'm not texting a lot. Having buttons that actually "click" and "tap" is important to me. In a full keyboard preferably. (yes. I'm picky)
However, my current phone is at the end of its rope... the microphone is breaking, so if anyone tries to call me, it sometimes requires a little yelling to make sure I'm heard. On top of that I'm stuck on AT&T with an arrangement I have from my last job.
So I am thinking about getting an iphone when this phone finally kicks it.
I really could care less about the apple vs microsoft, iphone vs. droid. Anything like that. I do not have brand loyalty. Whichever I like the best, is the one I like the best for its individual merit. I've played around on droids, HTC heroes, and iphones. Honestly, to me, it's all the same thing with slightly different wrapping. Anything I would want to do with it, can be done on any smart phone really.
It really does depend on what you want to do. But I doubt you're doing anything so ridiculous that any of the choices can't do the job. So, just go for it. Whichever makes you happy. if you're already on AT&T, get an iphone.. if you want to change the plan for price or something, go check out one of the others.
I realize this post probably isn't much help, but these are honestly my experiences. They're all so similar to me, it just simply doesn't matter.
And yes! I agree with you on the keyboard. I like the tapping noise, and I feel like I'd miss keys all the time on a touch screen.
I own an iPhone and I do love it, very easy to use. My boyfriend owns a Droid and though it's very pretty and it can do more on the home screen than the iPhone it's very difficult to navigate through. It took me awhile before I could even figure out just how to call someone.
If you'd like to figure out for yourself I'd say maybe go in store and play with the phones a bit. Just to see how you like them :)
Thanks for the info :3
Of course, it's just an idea. =3
Either way, I want to get something with apps because there's a lot of useful ones for nurses (drug books, diagnosis look-ups, pill identifiers, etc etc).
Apparently google's android has sold twice as many phones as apple has in half the time...
Also their market place (the equivalent of the apple store) Is largely free ^^
I'd get one :3
It runs Android, which as an argument against the iPhone, can run more than one app at a time. You try calling someone, then putting your pone down for a second and try to send them an e-mail while on the phone with them, and you can't do it. Their system won't allow for it. Plus, most everything on the android market is free, while all apps on the iphone are at least 99cents.
Android can do more than any other phones out there right now. And I wouldn't worry about the screen losing sensitivity - My husband had his G1 for 2 years and it never lost any.
Just what I've experienced over the past few years. :)
Thanks for the info!
