Wow would you believe it, my very first online journal post ever. Guess it was bound to happen eventually right? :) *Chuckles* But in any case, onward to the reason why I'm writing this post.

Just last week I had not one, but both of the people whom were going to be rooming with me at Anthrocon cancel because of financial setbacks. Which means that not only do I now have an empty room. But much of my incentive for going just kind of flew out the window. Because as I learned from the two days I was there last year, Anthrocon has become one whooper of a convention. So much so that it's painfully easy to go the entire convention without so much as seeing a familiar face.

Sooo, I suppose what I'm asking for is a head count of sorts. And of course any suggestions or ideas from those out there who know me and are going. And even those who are just interested in meeting me. Kind of sound silly, I know. But I figure it better to get a feel for my options before I make a final decision on whether to cancel my reservations or not. Don't know if it's really safe for a Drouse to be wondering the convention alone. :)
