So, I missed it last year and have just been reminded of it this year and so am considering attending MiDFur. The cost is of course going to be the big issue, as it's no doubt going to cost me more to go than any money I'm going to make if I get a place in the dealers den or sell some stuff at the art show, unless I'm really, really lucky =P
I am very interested in going though, and I'd likely hope to make it cheaper by sharing hotel accomodation with someone... though in seperate beds. lol, I'm not one of those people who can share a queen/whatever size bed with people, unless I've known them for a long time and am super close. But it's only $10 more a night for a room with two queens instead of one, so it's definitely an option, providing I can find someone I'm comfortable to share with.
At this stage, it's a bit up in the air, but I am keen to go. I make enough money to be able to afford it, however I'm terrible at saving and I've just spent approx. $500 on vet bills, will soon have some dentist bills, and I'm trying to save up for a 6 month trip to the U.S for early next year. Early registration closes end of June I think, get my first June paycheck tomorrow so if I can work out a good system I'm saving, which I should have done already, I should be able to figure it out.
I'm still open for commissions, so any money from them will go towards any of those numorous things, or may even pay for my weekly car refueling to get me to and from work, haha. Link to prices ==> http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1020155/

Heres to hoping that it works out and you ARE able to go to midfur.. Sadly, I wont be able to go again this year, as it clashes with some other stuff that we already have organised that cannot be changed.. v.v
