Help Me Out Guys
I've fixed up my laptop but was horrified when all my backed up files had been corrupted...this means that I have lost about $200 worth of my glorious music collection (see this is why I choose to buy music in cd form!). So anyway, I've decided to go and get myself a bunch of new stuff to listen too but I don't really know whats good since the only way I find bands is through (more or less) word of mouth.
So tell me, what do you guys like to listen to, and if you think I'd like it too then let me know.
-What I like-
anything with a nice tune or catchy beat...
*I love chilled out stuff like oceanship, as tall as lions, augie march, angus & julia stone etc
*I love techno (the more intense the better) like celldweller, presets, pendulum, gorillaz etc
*I love metal and rock (but not fond of screemo) like the butterfly effect, opeth, tool, BRMC, my chemical romance, ozzy ozbourne, sparta etc
*I also love a lot of stuff that I'd be unsure what genre it falls under like Abney Park, Vampire weekend, Yolanda Be cool & DCUP, Modest Mouse, apocalyptica...whatever
To be honest it would have probably have been easier to type up stuff I DONT like but yeah...show me your tunes so I can go out and add it to my currently pathetic looking library.
