Damn straight.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm the only one with decent organizing skills, and I'm the only one who's proven to be a real people person and that can host meets well. Plus, half our member on on vacation for most of this month anyways, and since we have such a small group right now, a meet with only 3 people and no president just isn't worth the time.

Yeah, I understand why you'd feel that way... But really, 3 of our members are in Florida, 1 will only go if I go... So if we actually held a meet this month, including you, there would be a total of two people. Which (in my opinion) definitely does not sound like a furmeet. BUT. I promise you that the July meets are going to BE SO FRIGGIN' SPIFFY. We're having a special guest come in from California, and another from Ohio ^^ Plus, we'll have quite a few suits there. Mine, Dex, Sways, and Alaculsy for sure.

I never once said they were mindless or idiots. But all members are my friends personally, and I know for a fact that they are either shy or just not very outgoing. The other members that are in charge of planning with me are in Florida for the month and won't be around. And yes, it seems a bit silly to take total control of the group myself, but most of the members do not seem to mind very much. I don't talk down to them and I treat them like the deserve, but that doesn't mean that they are automatically qualified to run a meet without my supervision. I know the July meets are going to be a little hot, but most of the members are already really excited to be around the suits, seeing as most of them have never actually been to a con or seen a nice suit up close. Personally, I don't mind sweating a bit for the joy of my other members.
