Finaly, Project Sylpheed for the 360 is coming. A few months ago I still made a journal about the game and my fears that it would never get out of Japan. But after a long wait and plenty of nail biting, the news that it would be coming out was made.
The other day, the demo was released on xbox live marketplace. I came home to have my mate say, you going to be hapy, and I was ^_^ The game looks and feels awesome. Its just like being in an anime epic like Macross. I have been playing the stuffing out of this demo hehe. I managed to rank S so im happy. I wish that there were a few more things to the game like a proper cockpit view and planet based missions or near planet missions ( if any one remembers Battlestar galactica on PS2 and xbox, there was a great stage where the Galactica is in the upper atmosphere of a planet. it was very pretty)
I dont think the game will have online multiplayer option which is a shame. but other than that, it still looks like a great game and will be a much added title to my games ( there is not enough games of this genre )
so if any one needs me, I will be in outer space :P

I has a regular ps2.. it still works ((can't say the same about my x-box >.< oh well.. no more halo for me)) i also has a ps2 slim cause I was gonna use it exclusively for Dance Dance rev.. then slip it into my car XD
and my ps3 set me back $740 CAN but hey!... it was worth it ^.^

They have one for the ps2 with better graphics, which comes close, but not quite like the original, but it's still alot of fun.
I'm a little worried that this game is so different from the rest, as I understand its not a rail shooter like the other two. But it is a space flight sim, which is the other type of game I miss - there hasn't been a good one in a while (I loved Wing Commander...). I'm gonna go download this right now! Thanks so much for this post! I don't check the marketplace nearly enough :)
that'll be fun to watch people flee in terror far away from me as I kill people on my psp, in the local park. XD

Did you ever play the Amiga (maybe came out to the Atari and PC as well) game Epic? It had huge space battles and some planetbased ones. I still remember the mission when you had to make a drop from space and attack a radar on a planet.
Privateer, StarLancer, FreeLancer, Conflic: Freespace - The Great War, Wing Commander... There have been a few great space games out there, I hope this one will be added to my list of games I have loved.

like i have the "new beginning" spyro game. and as much as i love spyro and as great as the cut scenes are, its fall is that its so easy.
despite all that i do hope this new game you're looking forward to excels your hopes of it :D
