Windows XP is about to die

Well my windows XP hard drive is about to tank. Good thing my computer is still live and kicking. I will tell you what, this old Intel 975X motherboard is a serious work horse, it has outlasted several of its hard drives.
However, today windows XP would not load my profile, so half the stuff wont work. Yes this time I was smart, all my stuff has been backed up, so only thing I might loose is a few internet links (good thing for linux and searching to find those links, got stuff I dont wanna loose) So I have not been on tonight because trying to get a virtual machine running, and trying to get the network to run with wifi does not work so well. But all is good.
So coming soon, I am going to upgrade to a new Phenom X6 AMD six core and some nice SSD's Its been a work horse for 5 years now, so far I am pleased as punch, this system will continue to live on as a high power linux machine and running many Virtual Machines back to back.
