You have to have a copy of Macromedia Flash. Then it's really easy.

Quick, Cheap: Use FFMPEG or other software to convert the AVI to a FLV container, use Flowplayer to play the container (assuming the result is not being uploaded to FurAffinity).

Easy: http://www.youconvertit.com/ConvertFiles.aspx (I regard the lack of privacy provided by doing the task locally to be a cost deterrent, and the time it may take for that site to convert is unknown.)
