How many casualties?
THIS time.
BTW: Sorry for my slow response --- my modem gut hung-up, and I couldn't access the Internet for a couple of days.
Stranded soldier 2: "ZOMG, V-22 Osprey!"
Everyone in the vicinity: "AAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!"
In this case the aircraft is too heavy and cannot adapt adequately to adverse conditions, meaning that even a slight breeze is capable of overturning it.
The repeated accidents that this anvil gets into just goes to show that the V-22 is easier to flip than a V-173 "Flying Pancake" landing into a headwind with locked airbrakes while it's pilot is off his tits. At least the V-173 can survive a crash and be still useful immediately afterwards.
