Hopefully just some well-meaning retards picked it up because they thought it was abandoned or something. That's terrible though. I hope both of you don't suffer much because of it. :C I'm really sorry. It's always like, my worst nightmare that that'd happen.

don't give up man. my cat was missing for several YEARS before returning. my mother put him outside and he ran off. years later a similar cat reappeared and had the same damaged leg my cat did. don't give up hope, man, sometimes cats just go off on their own.

Something similar happened to me when I was younger. We all thought the cat was gone, but he reappeared later. He was hanging out at someone's house cause she was giving him milk and called us when she saw the Lost Cat signs we had put up.

My cat has been missing for a week, too. It just hit me a few days ago. I thought he'd be back by now.

I hope your cat returns, I know how it feels. It's natural to think the worst but more than likely your cat is okay.

You should call up local animal shelters and stuff/and of course put flyers around. Make a craigslist.org post too if they have it there or a site similar to it. :c I lucked out when my dog ran away before that animal control had found him, but he had lost his collar so they had no way of contacting me. We were extremely fortunate as well we found him when we did, cause he only had a couple of days before they were gonna put him down from overpopulation in the shelter and was already up for adoption technically. x___x
