I had a great time the other day, alot more then I thought I would in fact. It was raining all day and I thought I'd stop by for an appearance and then be off. After all, I figured the rain would pretty much keep any picnic like outdoorsy activities to a minimum (and it did). Yet I found that really, mingling among friends was enough to occupy me for quite a few hours.

There were plenty of furs there that I haven't seen in a long time, whose company I was reminded of how much I missed. Of course, I had to introduce myself to a few furs I didn't know as well. Hopefully I can remember their names... Heh. There were some who weren't there for various reasons, but I assure you they can't escape a jackal that easily...

The food there was fantastic, just to note. Raven's cheesecake was shoved down my throat within a minute of my arrival, as well as Tank's cupcake. Both were excellent of course, but starting off with so many sweets nearly killed me (I have a weak tummy when it comes to sugar). It didn't stop me from enjoying Earthshine's hot chili, or Gino's venison sausages, plus an assortment of more sweets... Bah, my tummy wasn't happy with me but what can you do? Its a picnic!

A bunch of us went out to Denny's for a post-picnic final hurrah. I know I know, It's Denny's. I didn't go there for the amazing food mind you, I just didn't want to call it a night so soon. Not really much to say about it, just more chitter and food, but it was a good note to leave the day on.

Even if I didn't remember to take my camera out of my car, the lack of pictures didn't ruin my time a bit. This all has made me so much more excited for Anthrocon, and I definitely can't wait for the fall picnic either. :3
