fursuit head fans

General
I have just engineered a fan system for Innuk's head. they sit in the nose, use two small 12 volt fans, each with a nine volt battery, and two slide switches. They provide a nice breeze coming in just inches in front of my face. Not powerful, just nice, and for the most part, very quiet. It fits snug enough, that it can be removed, and stays put when installed.
Nice timing too, as next weekend's Father's day at the Zoo is expected to be a 24C Day. Good day for a test run.

Hmm. I was just thought it would supply some fresh air, since there's not much foam in the nose of my suit head. I did notice the puffs of air on my eyes when breathing out. Could cause some discomfort with contacts.

it does innuk, so temp is changing it sunday morning, id rather it take my breath out, than blow my hot breath back into mah head.

Thanks for the insight, Geroff. I'll definitely test them out.

It's really a matter of preference. I like air blowing in, some like the hot air from their breath sucked out.

O.o oh god that will be hot, glad I have fans to :P (built them right into the sides before the fur was on) they both are fairly ventilated and pull air out ^^

OP
I had thought about the sides, but I wouldn't have anywhere to put them with innuk's design. He's pretty bare-bones. Over the top of the head, he's fur and framing. The top of the nose has framing and a thin layer of foam down the center, with open gaps between framing on either side. So the nose it is. I found on hot days, I was fighting for cool air to breath in, and needed the breeze to come in. I chose small Video cooler fans, so that the air was constant, but not a hurricane force wind. They are whisper quiet, and I can hear around me really well. I'll test them blowing in for father's day, and if the contacts can't take it, i'll just take it out and turn the fans around. I'll just have to make a change in the backing so I can grab it when the fans are backwards. Thank you everyone, your advice is appreciated.
