Anthrocon 2010 update *explitives*

My mate had a spineless ass of a boss. For weeks the bar where he DJ's was preparing to write him out of the budget by rewiring their sound system so the host for their shows can run everything backstage. We got the news last night that he is now fired, but the manager, who was THERE the whole night didn't tell him. Nope, the gutless bastard made the show's host tell him the bad news after he left. Nothing on the show and its host. They're good people from what I've seen and they can't help it when the bar owner decides to be a cheap f*ck and can't even give us a few weeks warning about the impending firing.
So, since we were awaiting that money to get to Anthrocon this year, we are officially screwed out of 180.00USD. That's the good news. The worst is that we were in a room with several others and now they're short two people for the room with almost no time to replace us.
If you are reading this journal and need room for AC2010, our room was at the Omni with 4 others. I've not gotten permission to say who has the room, but if hey OK it, I will post their FA names on my journal so you can contact them about filling in the spot we had to vacate. We were paying $200.00 for the room and it was to be available for about a week. If one person rather than two joins in I think the cost goes to $250.00.

If you want to actually get Uncle Kage to stop for a moment and say hello, wave a bottle of wine, especially sake' in front of him. He helped us out big time a few years back when my (not at the time) mate's fursuits were stolen and let us root through the con's stuff in case it got packed in there, so last year we got him a huge bottle of sake' and his eyes bugged out (no pun intended).
