1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Nothing new, sadly. This year was full of meh.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I've stopped making them years ago...
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
With my mate an his kids. Possibly watching the fireworks from the US Naval Academy, sitting by a fire.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My younger brother in August, and my mate's mother in December.
5. What countries did you visit?
None, though I did go to PA and VA (which technically are sovereign nations under the US, but whatevah...)
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
A steady paycheck again
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Aug. 11th, the date my brother died and I was reunited with my biological family due to that.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Nothing at all. My 2011 was average and worse.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not getting electricity back to my house since Aug. 2nd. I'd also blame myself for not getting hired, but since everywhere I've applied is STILL "now hiring" months after I applied and I've heard nothing from anyone, I' going to blame the economy or corporate for that.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just the usual scrapes I don't remember getting until I look down and see congealing blood.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Food I guess.
12. Where did most of your money go?
Food and gas.
13. What song will always remind you of 2011?
'Brother Under the Sun' by Bryan Adams
14. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Work that would result in a paycheck.
Writing. I started several things, then like always my muse runs off.
15. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being a virtually unemployed bum.
16. What was your favorite TV program?
TV, meh. I haven't had TV for years. There's almost nothing on, and when it is, I'm usually busy and can't watch.
17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope, same people as it was for the past several years. *shakes fist at Annapolis and Washington DC*
18. What was the best book you read?
'the Gunslinger' series by Stephen King (only the first two thus far)
'Sixes Wild' by Tempe O'Kun
'Shadow of the Father' by Kyell Gold

Didn't really watch new movies this year. Much sad because I love going to movies and plays.

Not so much learned as it was confirmed~ Gov't sucks royally, can't run a budget for shit, and doesn't give a flying fuck what the people it reigns over thing/feel/want as long as the politicians in control get their pockets lined.
