Actaully allot of good things have been put into motion recently...Went to Nashville and am cutting an album with someone famous...Get to go back the next two months, too. *glee*
Xavier's good, Ben is...Ben (I've been trying to leave him for awhile now, but he forces himself into my life.) long story there.
How's bout you? :)
ooh, so you're doing music? awesome. are you singing, too? good luck and much success with your work! ^^
Ben is the guy you hooked up after Umuntu? I lost track... please don't tell me there is another relationship of yours that went down the drain!
me, I'm still stuck with a crappy work for a worker-for-lease company, and it's becoming tiresome. everybody makes BIG eyes when they hear I am with them for eight years now... and I gotta agree that it is eight years too long. but what can I do, even if they need qualified workers and experts, they're not hiring...
that, and I am a lazy ass.
Yep, I'm doing music professionally now :) Will have a CD out soon. Check out the last song I posted in my gallery (Blinding Me) - it was recorded professionally in Nashville and I am very proud of it, because it's one of those songs that has stayed with me for a few years now, lyrically. I learned to play guitar recently and now am doing an acoustic show with original music...I teamed up with Jeremy in Nashville and it was a great experience, I get to go back the next two months and do more in-studio recording (At Omni Sound, no less! Lynard Skynard, Jewel, Travis Tritt, Miranda Lambert...That's where they recorded)
Uh-Oh...Sounds like you need a new job! Lol. Seriously - do something you love doing, and you'll never work a day in your life :) That's why I went back to the music. I couldn't let a broken heart scar me and scare me from the one passion I've ever had.
best wishes!
sounds like you have success now, that's good! ^^
ah yeah, well, before the Economical Failure™ most companies which had good/doable jobs didn't hire, but took in workers-for-lease; the others with crappy jobs, would hire, but of course nobody would do it for the low payment they offered. the fail made that situation worse. my current job alternates between "good" and "doable". it's something I would consider doing for the rest of my active work life, but of course, they won't hire. there is an alternative, but that boss seems to be too hyperactive/ADD-ridden to remember I sent an application at all. not a good prospect... I could, however, send out applications to promising companies, but honestly, I have no idea what I would enjoy doing the next 30 years until retirement... I guess I'm failure myself.
