Tabletop RPGs
You know, I miss playing tabletop RPGs. When I say this, I mean actually getting a character together and sitting down, making a commitment and playing. Most of the games I've run have fallen apart because of issues with Real Life, but usually because one or more players can't/won't commit. When things finally do start settling down, people have all of these grudges from when they didn't.
I'd love to get a game together, perhaps something White-wolf as it's easier to run, preferably the new system, because it's better balanced.
What do you all think about Tabletop RPGs?

As for White Wolf, I've actually gotten to like them better, I'm not sure I'll ever LARP them, but for the tabletop they're ok. I prefer Exalted to WoD as it's more fantasy based and is more "epic." As far as WoD goes as long as I can be a "real" supernatural I'm happy werewolves and vamps are my buddies. I'm not so keen on their need to flood the series with a lot of other tag-ons like Promethean, Changeling, Geist ae superfluous at best. Mage and Hunter are alright, but I'd rather be a little less human in that sorta setting.
Anyway, all my games recently have fallen through, and there was one DnD game that was supposed to start up after AC sometime, but we'll see how that goes, other than that I'm free. So if you find some locals to throw some dice, hit me up!
With the newer line of White-wolf's WoD line, I like Changeling and Geist. Promethean was an interesting game, but not one that it's easy to find players for. They think 'that doesn't sound cool' when I describe the game's underlying drama. It's typically a tragic game. Changeling is fun, simply because you get to play things that are.. just really weird, like a man whom is made of salt or the best beer brewer, or even an alien abductee. Geist.. plays up my love for ghosts and ghost stories. It's also good in that you get to resolve things left behind by these ghosts, and the Krewe mechanic is intriguing.
Let me know if you find a game that could do with a smelly ol bear.
As far as player falling apart go, i'd say, sadly, the only way to get going is to go on without those who won't make the effort.. IOf course, sometime it just reduce the team to 2 players and it's unplayable :/
Generally, that's what happens with a lot of my games, they dissolve to two or three players.

Lately I've been doing some nWoD online. Changeling. It's really fun if you got a good DM who can play around with the possibilities. Right now we're dealing with the fact that one of the PC's fetches is freaking out because his True Fae creator's coming back to take his frustration about said PC escaping out on the fetch. The fetch is trying to get us all thrown in jail now, probably so we'll be easy to snare and take back to Arcadia so he won't die horribly.
One game a week seems fairly light to me.
