So, as most of you know, I work at a vet clinic. Well, this Tuesday I got a call from a lady who needed to put her cat down. As I talked to her more I discovered that she had been trying to find a home for her 15 year old kitty because she was moving into an assisted living facility and couldn't take care of her cat anymore. But no one wants an old cat... so she had no luck finding a home for her beloved cat. So, her last option was to have her euthanized. We set up the appointment for Thursday morning and that was that.

The rest of Tuesday I tried convincing people who came into the clinic and my fellow employees to take the kitty. But no one wanted her or could take her.

So... Thursday came around and I couldn't let this kitty be put down. Even though she is 15 years old the doctors said she was more like a 10 year old cat and very healthy. So I decided to take her...without my parent's permission. I ended up bringing her home and sprang the news on my parents at dinner. XD;; I'm REALLY surprised how well they took it! They were actually pretty cool and accepted having the kitty in the house.
