AC was awesome, and so are you!

Okay, finally conscious again post-AC.
A great con!
It was actually a little weird for me at first because I was sorta finding myself aimlessly wandering and/or looking for people to hang out with, because a big chunk of my normal AC crew wasn't there! I think this is an okay thing, though, because it's good to get out of old habits and stretch out to new people and make new connections. I didn't do the best at it this year, but next year I want to do better.
I decided not to do AA just because I've been so out of the art game for months and I think it would have just been stressful to jump right back in at the last second, just for the sake of money. Instead I just wanted to socialize as much as possible. I think I made the correct decision overall, but not entirely for the right reasons.
In a con where you're trying to meet new people and make new connections, I quickly realized that the best way is at an AA table! So many people stop by and will say hi that wouldn't necessarily make a point of it in passing at the con. Great way to meet internet acquaintances that haven't quite reached "friend" stage, and a great way to interact with other artists. Plus, you're in one place instead of wandering around, so it's easier to be found!
Anyway, next year I definitely want to step up the game with AA, if even just doing it for a half-day.
That said, everyone at the con was great! I want to give shoutouts but I'd be here all day and I have work to do!
ROLL FOR CHEESE!
