telling the characters apart

Rin or 凛
Name meaning: 'Dignified, severe cold'
The name sounds a bit like Kirin, but she is not a Kirin! She is a White Furry Artic dragon, all the way from the North of Japan. Her element is ice. This AC she finally grew her horns. She is adopted by Mingchun. She's still a little kid, and acts that way.
Mingchun or 明春
Name meaning: shining goddess and bringer of life in the spring (Sun dragon)
Mingchun is also a dragon and not a Kirin. She is an Imperial Chinese Sun dragon, roamer of the temples in China. Her element is Light. Mingchun found a dragon egg that was dropped off at one of the temples by a traveller.
