Hating the tea taxes, having a tea party involving throwing tea into the sea when they could have stole it and the time it took for messages to be sent across the sea to London.
Gotta love history, my fave rebellion though must be when the indians rebelled against the UK in Asia because their gun cartridges contained animal fat which they happily used to shoot back at us with when they rebelled. :P
Not trying to troll or provoke here but when you do look into american history and are from the UK and read un-biased sources then it really does open a new way to think about it all :P
Also I just found out now that the British flag isn't actually symetrical. I don't know how in hell I didn't ever notice that :P

FA+

-) "Lighthouses are more useful than churches" Benjamin Franklin. I am pretty sure everyone knows about this one. (:
Again with the point you made, like most history probably goes many people probably took the phrase "to uphold law and order" a little too much into their own hands and people got beaten for it :P
And that's to bad. Beneath every person's calm exterior... lies a deligh in seein' explosions akin to Michael Bay explosions!
Also, yep, them armadillos are crafty creatures. Armoured pigs... don't let their sweet innocence and adorableness fool you otherwise. The deadliest and last mistake a man can make is underestimate 'em.
And yeah them armadilloes can't be trusted, I knew there was something up with the way they kept to themselves as much as they did :P
And the tea party of today is about as thick as humans can be while still remembering to respirate...
Was refering to the tea party movement today... if you've seen that... it's sad...
I used to work a decent merchandising job making $12US an hour (plus reimbursement for food and travel). I busted up my Achilles on the job, and generally haven't been able to work since. The worker's compensation system not only twiddled their thumbs when I needed treatment, but allowed me to get worse over time. Even when I sought legal counsel nothing really got done. I finally received surgery (for the foot/ankle equivalent to carpal-tunnel, called tarsal tunnel) and a few months of physical therapy Q4 of last year, but it didn't fix the problem.
All the while, my employer had gone bankrupt and closed its doors leaving me jobless while I continued to lose use of the injured foot/leg. Fast forward to today and nothing is STILL being done while I have to get around in a wheelchair due to extenuated nerve damage. Legal counsel just sits their with sound guards over its ears and their thumbs up their arses.
I hate to say it, but I haven't even hit my third decade in life and I've grown to hate the country I live in.
