Funny, this is what popped into my head as I was actually passing in my usually assertive - ok today I was more on the aggressive - style while commuting to work.

You see I am not one of those idiotic morons who feel that they absolutely have to race from behind you, pass you and then get in front of you only to get off at the next exit which is only seconds away!

No, you see I prefer to let one pass in front of me (or move over first) then get behind them, speed up and then move to the lane on the side, pass, and then leave them in the dust. It is so much more satisfying to know that their brief triumph of being 'head of the pack' has now been stomped on.

LOL, I know this has got to be some subconscious metaphor for something deep and dark within me. But I just look at it as a life lesson. After all, a person will display a lot more aggressive reaction if they see someone try to get in front of them first. However, if you bide your time and come up from behind, the results can be more...rewarding.

Or I just need to get into therapy for my latent maniacal tendencies...
