post AC wrap up (finally)

So Anthrocon was awesome blah blah, you guys and girls who were there know it ruled. Special thanks have to go out to leasara tincrash and swatcher for being excellent dinner company and all around great to hang out with, lunarkeys and nyomi for chilling with me and the boyfriend in the zoo and at the alley, catmonkshiro for the badge trade and everything else. Also gillpanda is effing awesome and suuuuch a nice guy. starpaw and iffriel are so unbelievably adorable and me and therian are lucky to have them as friends <3
Super special thanks goes out to everyone who took the time to say hi or stop by in the Alley or the Zoo, and also to everyone who bought anything from me or entertained the thought of doing so, haha. AC is always this big ball of exhausting amazement and time after time it is the upbeat, friendly, talkative and just generally awesome members of the TF and furry community that make it so much fun.
Super bonus thanks go out to Provolovere, Zax, and everyone who organized the TF jam which was FANTASTIC and every year I look forward to it more than anything. The chill atmosphere, camaraderie, and just hell yeah attitude of the TF community is so great, and every year I am more impressed.

I am currently working on the traditional stuff I took home from the con, which will be mailed as it gets done. At this point absolutely all the traditional stuff is at least penciled, most of it is inked. Here's the progress chart (I'll edit this as I get further on these)
-Phoenix's badge is getting colored.
-Kale's badge is inked
-Xerxes' commission is getting colored.
-Varamu's badge is done and ready to mail.
-Leasara's commission is done and ready to mail.
-Keys' commission is done and ready to mail.
-Newenglander's commissions are done and ready to mail.
I am looking forward to finishing these, should have some good stuff to post in the next few days if I can scan these without too much derp.

I was originally bummed out because so many friends of mine canceled (including two roommates), and was worried that it was gonna be pretty quiet overall. Instead, you and Therian popped up and gave me (and Nyomi!) some of the best table conversation one could possibly ask for. It's always an honor chatting with two of the wittiest, most hilarious folk in the community.
I loved how we kept running into each other completely by accident - on the escalators to and from Registration, in the Zoo, randomly going to and from the Alley, outside...every time, 'Oh, hey there!', and I was reminded why I love going to this convention so much.
Once again, it was a pleasure, and I really need to get around to treating you two to dinner out next year. Thanks again!
