Well, this journal is one of those pain in the arse commission kind of ones, for which I apologise. I haven't been able to come up with an elegant way to shill. I'd like some cash to pay for amenities and physical therapy, and I'm hoping some of you might want to give me some!? If you have been interested in my drawings up 'til now, and/or you know people who you think might be, please spread this journal around so that I can reach people with an interest in trading their monies for my services.
My current plan is to take on commissions via this pretty cool commission form.
In general I'm probably better at illustrating human-like things than animal-like things & devices, though I'm working on the quadruped flat pelvis. I suppose some things I particularly enjoy are concept-flavoured, such as fooling with character designs to make them weirder/more monstrous and designing crazy armour/gear & costumes. In general I expect commissions will look fairly similar to things in my FA gallery from the last few months.
It's by far the easiest for me to accept payment via paypal, at this address: goldfinchesDOTbyaccidentATgmailDOTcom I might be able to manage other methods though, please let me know. With some payment options paypal wants extra percents on top of the sum, but selecting the purchase>services option seems to be okay, and is also a pretty accurate description.
I liked it in Day of the Jackal when Jack Black got his arm blown off, so I'd appreciate payment divided 50/50 between confirmation of me accepting your commission, and the completion of your piece. This will hopefully reserve your right to request changes, and ensure I'll be working with actively interested parties.
Once we've agreed on your specifications, I'd also request that if possible you send any reference images & text as e-mail attachments to the above address; that way I'll be able to work on art even if I'm temporarily in a different location or my internet goes down.
I can probably also arrange to ship your your artworks for a small extra fee (probably ~£2-5? I'm looking into it!)
