Well, after week upon week of ridiculous jokes about the vuvuzelas, the people getting mad over their country not winning a game... We finally have a win! An epic win at that- Spain's first world cup, after about 119 minutes of play, in overtime nonetheless. The Netherlands played hard- played well... but Spain got the final shot, the one and only goal that sealed the game. After watching BBC News (seems to be the only reliable source here anyway...) The excitement from the crowds standing outside watching the huge LCD screens to get a glimpse of the game (if not all of it) almost pops out of my screen when Andres Iniesta plowed the ball into the goal.

Congrats to you, Spain- well played.

Bueno, después de la semana a semana de bromas ridículas sobre las vuvuzelas, la gente se enojara más de su país no ganar un partido ... Por fin tenemos una victoria! Una épica victoria en primera copa del mundo que-de España, después de cerca de 119 minutos de juego, sin embargo, en tiempo extra. Holanda jugó duro jugó bien ... pero España se puso la vacuna final, el fin primero y último que selló el juego. Después de ver noticias de la BBC (parece ser la única fuente fiable aquí de todos modos ...)
