Woke up to rejection.

Just got up this morning to find out that my application to work at the Sears call center in Round Rock this August had been rejected. According to the lady in charge of recruiting, her managers have just now started pressing her to hire applicants with more experience in customer service. Chances are, if I had just remembered to charge up my phone last month when they called me the first time, I'd already be cashing in my first +$750 semi monthly paycheck, but it seems now I'm too late even for a second chance.
Here I was, thinking I had found a respectable, well paying job that's within walking distance of Jeffy's apartment complex only to be rejected because of bad timing. I had invested so much hope into getting this job, not just for the paycheck, but also because within the next year, the Austin/Round Rock area's babyfur population is going to rival, maybe even exceed that of Seattle's (which is a big deal.)
But now I'm having to consider cutting my losses and working at a Whataburger (I don't do very well around food while on my medication,) or moving to Copperas Cove which is a good one hour drive from Round Rock (and I don't even have a car.)
I guess this is what happens when you count your chickens before they hatch.

But why is the Austin babyfur population going to exceed other places?
Well, there just seem to be a lot of us moving down there. I'm going to Austin cause I'm going to the University of Texas.
i was told to jump on the sears job too
Hopefully you have more luck looking elsewhere.
*hugs*
