They over heat and if it has been a while since the dust and lint was cleaned out of it, a good session with canned air might solve the problem.

Do you still get the beep's once in a while? I'm a bit late but thought I could give a hand.

What have you done to the computer so far? And is it a laptop or a desktop?

laptop. and had brought it into a computer shop and they heard it beep. but were unable to locate problem or cause for it. talked to Alienware tech. and they said that i could send it in. but it would be 10 to 18 weeks before they be able to look at it and send back repaired or replacement. since they are backlogged.

That's not really good to hear about them being back log. Wow.... I'm sorry to hear that. Umm... Dang. Well..... You could run a diagnostic test on it threw the BIOS system. If you know how to do that. Also, you might want to check and see if it might need to be cleaned. If that's not the case and it if runs very cool at the bottom.


Better yet. Does it start beeping the moment you start the computer? Or is it when it starts getting really hot? Because, the computer.

Also, is there anything else running kind of funny on your computer that wasn't before when it was beeping?

everything runs fine. and I dont know how to do the test thur Bios. doesnt run cool or Hot.

Interesting. It sounds like that your computer had a glitch and needs either: A. It needs a new OS. B. The heating setting temp in the BIOS is to high on the computer.

But all in all. I think your computer needs a scan. If you can. Take it to a shop and have then scan the BIOS and the OS. As well, everything if possible.
