Ooh, I had that problem too. I just totally deleted my drivers and installed ones from the website, and then it worked with photoshoops. To get it to work with SAI I had to remove all my user preferences (Start Menu > Pen Tablet > Pen Tablet Preference File Utility), so you might want to try that too.

Dunno which model of Bamboo you have, though, so sorry if this doesn't work. :<
