One of my all time favorite songs is "Vapor Trails" by Ride. They were an independent sonic pop band from England. The first line in the song is "First you look so strong, then you fade away." I feel like that sometimes. It's pretty much a love song.

The song itself is beautiful. They're the band that started the chamber music trend in modern rock music of the 90's. The song has a chamber quartet slowly fading in and ending the song.

"Save Me" by Queen does it for me if I'm feeling lonely and depressed because it's masterful down to its very composition in describing the pain of a breakup. (Emo kids got nothing!) It's got its slow melancholy moments, the "praying" for the pain to be over with, the loss of care for oneself, and you can also picture someone smashing their ex's belongings with a golf club during the chorus.

"66" by Afghan Whigs from the "1965" Lp/Cd

Ever have a longing for someone you just happen to see walk in a room in such a way you just need to be with them? You get all crazy and would probably do anything to be with them. This song sums the feeling up exactly. The link is a home made video, but the sound quality is the best I could find. It's such a great song, it appeared in my Furfright Deadfur song list 4 years in a row.
