The fireplace was warm tonight, it softly rained outside, and I could occasionally see drips from the chimney land in the flames. They were hungrily consumed and you could see the flames almost dance in joy at each drops intrusion. The many different hues of the fire all had their different and yet similar personalities. The blue and purple is hard to notice at times, but are always the warmest and most inviting. Red and orange are the common flames, always the first to appear and the last to leave, they are a constant reminder of how warm and yet destructive fire can be.
