This song has been a staple on the record player since I've known my beloved roommate, but I've known it for most of my life. I have my parents' musical tastes and a bit of fate to thank for the fact that my head belongs somewhere between the 60s and the 70s. Music just hasn't had the same passion to it since about the end of the 80s; not to say that there aren't some amazing bands between then and now, however.

AFTERTHOUGHT: My other song choice, now that I've had time to think about it, would be Tom Waits' I Don't Wanna Grow Up.
