rant of the day: are escalator the doom of humanity???

someone tell me whats wrong with people and escalator :
as soon as people put one foot on it, THEY HAVE A SUDDEN PARALYSIS STRIKE and fucking stop walking, as if there was a law forbidding to walk in stairs when they are not fixed to the ground.
MOVE!
for all holy stuff in the world!
it's even good for your health!!!
and even if you have decided you couldnt handle any kind of physical effort, LEAVE ENOUGH PLACE SO PEOPLE CAN WALK PASS YOU!!! and not egoistically block the passage just so you have enough space for you and your ego.
now, if it would only happen when the escalator go up, I could understand it may be tiring, BUT PEOPLE DO THE SAME WHEN GOING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!
for god sake, even GRAVITY is helping you!

the only people I excuse are the elderly and the injured/handicapped, because they cant do anything about it, but all the other can go to hell !

it breaks down and becomes stairs BAHAHA people look confused and can't make it to the second floor.
I will try to have a second thought the next time Im stuck in an elevator, to not automatically mentally curse the person blocking the way
