My Birthday and Gifts

Welp...two weeks from today is my birthday (yep the 16th). It's a specially depressing time since I'm going to turn 20 years old...I'm not going to be a teenager anymore and for the first time, I'm starting to be scared about getting older. Although, I've always felt like I was older then I actually am (I must have an old soul or something). But I guess I won't change much even if I get to be 40 years old lol. I'll still be on here...drawing furries...oh god...
I'm probably going to have some fun with some friends on that day. I guess I can look forward to that.
As for gifts from folks on here, I don't expect anything. From what I learned in life, you shouldn't expect things from people or you'll just end up disappointed. Although, I have been giving a lot of art to people lately so It'd be interesting to see what I'd get back ha ha ha...probably nothing lol. It's definitely much easier to receive than to give.
And just because you can't draw doesn't mean you can't leave a comment when the time comes. It'd make that much of a difference to me =]
Which brings me to my next topic, gifts. I usually give gifts to other artists, especially popular ones. And by doing this, it really helps me judge a person's character. What I've learned from this is that the people I usually hold very highly and whom I want their attention surprised me by showing barely any interest in what I present them. On the other hand, the ones that I believe will brush it aside as it was nothing actually like it quite considerably. Guess people are very unpredictable. As a certain somebody told me, "everyone deserves a chance" and that's the truth.
Yep, people never cease to amaze me...

Happy Bday. I'll try to come up with something :3
Wow, really? You don't have to. a comment is fine enough ^^
Still though. You need a gift. XD
Thanks man, I appreciate it greatly =]
Also, I think I should thank you again for the Gift you made for me.
I really appreciate it. =)
Your welcome buddy. Thanks for showing me some gratitude =]
It was a nice Gift... X3
I hope you'll have got fantastic birthday ;) As I know FA, you will gain birthday arts, which I never received ;P
If I'll forget about your birthday - Happy Birthday to you ^_^
I know I'll get something from my good friends lol. And maybe some from on here, but I'm not counting on it lol.
Well when April comes around next year, we'll have to change that huh?
And thanks man =]
Maybe I'm teen, but in Poland from 18th year life is getting harder - exam named "Matura", university and go for work ;P
And no problem my friend ;)
I've never gotten an gift art before, or if I did it was a long time ago. But is to be expected since I dont draw. You should be careful as to those who give you "too much" gift though. They could be trying to "kiss up" to you.... but that's just my opinion.
Well, when your birthday comes up, I'll have to make you something huh? haha.
I don't think if somebody gives you a lot of stuff that their trying to kiss your ass. It really depends. If they don't ask for any art in return and truly show that they care about you as a person, then they probably have good intentions. It's those people who constantly ask for requests without giving you anything but faves are the ones that should be kept arms length away. Those are the ones who want to steal your life away. At least if they drew something for ya, they put some more effort into kissing up to you as opposed to just clicking a button a few times lol.
that's how I see it. heh heh
Thanks for sharing man =]
My birthday was some months ago... so... yeah. And you're free to do what you want, but if you do make something for me you might an awkward response from me or something... Im just not used to getting anything from online friends and it makes me awkwardly nervous.
Well, I believe everyone should get something for their birthday. i know what it's like to get nothing...and it's a bad feeling. So go ahead and note me on what you want. I'd be glad to do it =]
...
I'm certainly not one right? xD
Thanks for droppin' a line =]
