Greetings, my furry friends!
Okay everybody!
I know this has been a bit delayed, but my mother and her husband were in town for the past week, so I haven't been able to log in to ANY of my accounts to let people know the wonderful news. I had my baby last Sunday, July 25, which was 1 day earlier than predicted. His name is Nikola Arutha. He was born at 1:13 pm, weighed 7 lbs 2 oz, was 20 and 1/4 in long, and had a 13 cm head. Apparently I did really well for my 1st baby: I only needed 1 stitch, and that was a 'just in case' thing from my doctor 'cuz of my anemia; and I didn't scream like a banshee. I did however dislocate my husband's wrist. That was kinda cool. Anyway, I have posted a picture taken at the hospital, so he's less than 24 hours old. There are many more, much better pics, but I have to wait about 2 weeks before the ones we had taken at the photo studio come in. THOSE are some beautiful pics. I'll be sure to get them posted once they arrive. In the mean time, enjoy this one. And again, I'm sorry this took so long for me to get done.

okay being a dork aside, if it helps witht he baby nicknames, my mom had to dub me the sumo cuz of all the chinese she bloated me up on^^"
As for the nickname, we're sticking with Nikky. I think Little Nikky is fine, too, even though I haven't yet seen the movie. But my mom did ask if she should call him Nikkers. (She named me and both my bro's so that you couldn't easily add a Y to the end, but ERS worked just fine.) We told her absolutely not!!! :LMAO:
I'm glad every thing went well, so when does the next one go in the oven? I remember your mate saying something about you wanting three....

The next time the oven is on will probably be in about 2-3 years. I've heard that is ideal for several reason: There's time for the body to heal; You're not trying to nurse 2 at once; Your bank account has a little time to recover... There are other reasons, too. But they're probably pretty obvious. And yes, we are hoping for three total, but now that we have to 1st one, there's no great rush to pop out the other 2. My nether regions will certainly appreciate some time being normal again!!!

Yes, now I have my beautiful little bundle... Now what I do with him is: feed, burp, change, cuddle, sleep, repeat... Order changes occasionally.
Maybe I should get a nanny goat and a pair of earplugs.................
