Wow. just wow.
So I am currently -$200 in my bank account.
All because some fuckwad signed me up for Overdraft protection, which doesn't protect me at all.
Basically, without overdraft protection, if you only had $5, and you tried to spend $6, your card would be declined for insufficient funds and such. This is good, as you shouldn't spend money you dont have anyways.
But with overdraft protection, you can just keep spending and spending and spending.
So what happened is this. I last saw my bank account had $50 in it, and said, cool. So i spent about 30, 20 on gas, and then a bit on denny's and Bk and stuff. then after that i only spent 2-3 bucks here or there. Then I got paid, and thought I had plenty of money. So I spent 15 and a couple bucks here and there again
By then, half a dozen charges had come through during this time, and they overdrew my account a shitload, so i got alllll these charges, and thent he new ones I made after getting paid got charges, and then it was enough that my entire $235 paycheck got eraten up,a dn then more charges went through, and ugh.
Went into the bank, lady said lol sorry you shoulda kept a better record.
Called up the hotline, lady said lol you have overdraft protection. I had her take that off asap.
Called the hotline again when more charges kept piling up. Cunt said lol yer a liar about keeping track of yer money, and yer lying about having had overdraft protection. I hope she rots in hell.
So that is my life right now. Ima prolly need to wait 4 fucking weeks before i actually have spending money. This is going to be a fun month. UGH.
