What's with all of these fat bunnies on the site lately? I don't get it; am I missing something?

it is because of one 
Katmomma A very nice woman who has a large following on DA due to her tortise and the hare story re-write. This new version on the story involves deeper character development. In short- the hare is a jerk and beats the tortise every year in a race and then makes a show of rubbing it in the tortise's face. Tortise finally gets fed up, asks a fox witch to make it so he can win the race. Fox makes the hare fat so that he cant win the race and so she can try and eat him (second part is her agenda). this causes the hare to become depressed, but is given support by his family to work through this new turn of events. It use to be posted online, but now its a book so sadly i cant link you to it. But thats where teh fat bunnies came from. She thought the bunnies looked cute fat, so she drew them that way, hence the FA banner a few weeks ago. :)
