It's honestly true alot of these large fur family people wind up getting alot of art just because. It gets kinda annoying to see the same people over and over getting things like this. It's slightly unfair to people like us who are not able to afford buying commissions at all.

I don't believe in that fur family crap to be honest.
There are people who seem to collect as many 'friends' as possible and I've also experienced people going nuts when they were taken off someone's friends/family list.
If you're my friend we talk to each other, go along and form some kind of bond, trusting each other and knowing each other pretty well after some time.
I seriously doubt that those people who have huge fur families really know or even care about the people they are surrounded by.
I'm sure, if you sucked up to lots of people you'd get more free art as well.
I once did a fanpic for a rather famous artist who I though was cool, cause he was very depressed and he was really happy about the pic I made for him and said he'd make me something in return. He never did and I stopped talking to him, cause as it seems he doesn't really care.
It seems most people are this way and only recognize those with lots of pery stuff in their galleries or those who stand out by ridiculously fanboying of them.
I don't say there are no nice people out there, but they're rare and hard to find.
I know some people here on FA who have always been quite nice to me, but I failed to form a real bond with them, so I don't have them listed on my page, even though they are really not bad people.

I dunno how you might make more friends, but maybe you have been looking among the wrong people for friends.

i really dont know what to do about it because if i cant draw ur character i wont. and i know i wont be able to draw yours its too complicated because of the markings

It would have been nice for you to actually tell me ahead of time. And IF You would have I would have told you I don't have an offical pattern for the markings, so on the rare chance someone is nice enough to draw Riam, I let them choose how the markings are. That one link I used as a reference, the artist just went to photobucket and scearched 'tribal tattoos' and then colored them blue and put them in the picture.

And if you would have taken 20 seconds to look at any other refs I had, one of them only had a marking above each eye and that was it.
