Just came back from a midnight showing of the movie and it was AWESOME!
You're wondering what Scott Pilgrim is about? Here's the plot in a nutshell (video from the video game):

Usually I'm not the biggest fan of Hollywood adaptations, but I was REALLY itching to see this movie. :D I'm also not really a fan of Michal Cera, but he played the role of Scott pretty well (IMO). And so many video game references and jokes. That, itself, made the movie worthwhile! I don't think its gonna get movie of the year or any big Oscars, especially with Inception and The Expendables coming out in the same year, but if you're a gamer, or a fan of the Scott Pilgrim graphic Novel, or even a fan of what's supposed to be a Boy-meets-girl love story, definitely check this movie out!
Also to keep plugging this series, a game version of Scott Pilgrim came out for the PS3 and is soon coming out for the Xbox 360. For a game, based off the movie, based off a book series, it turned out pretty well. And if not anything else, the music even reaches back to the good ol' days. If you're a fan of old fashion beat-em-ups (like River City Ransom, Streets of Rage, or Turtles in Time) you'll definitely enjoy this game.
And for the final plug, the movie and game's based off the graphic novel, so like always, there's some stuff that both other medias don't cover. At least do the creator justice, why don't ya? :V

And yes, my summer break is practically over. I'm not that sad considering I've been cooped up at home for nearly 3 months now. I gotta get back to a social life. :V
It really makes me want to read the comics X:
I do wonder if its better to read the comic first or see the movie first?
Also, apparently ubisoft was pushing to get the game out before the movie, so hopefully they'll go back now that they've met that deadline and make it online.
This game would be the best game ever if it had online.
Heads up though It is a bit hard. Even on easy!
