WEll, ALMOST. They tried to jack the wrong car. Over something stupid and silly, too. I'm at Wendy's going through the drive through. Behind me I notice a gangbanger and his gangbanger bitch standing behind my car. I'm just in my 2002 Grand Am, nothing special. As I go around the corner they follow, and three more are at the window demanding they be served. The lobby is closed and they have no car, and they refuse to serve anyone not in a car. I keep as close to the wall as I can as I get to the window, I already have my... peacemaker... handy. I ALWAYS have some form of equalizer on me. Sometimes it may be illegal, but better to be illegal than dead... or carless. As I hand the credit card over for the cashier a guy in dreadlocks squeezes in between the car and the wall and leans into the car and says "Yo, we gonna use your car, homie."
Unfortunately for him, as I said, I have an equalizer. "Wrong car."
All I had was a small blade designed to be held between your thumb and middle finger, and it's supported by your index finger. Nice and shiny I made sure he saw it. It's small but incredibly effective. very illegal,but like I said... an illegal weapons charge vs losing my car or getting my ass kicked or killed... I'll take the weaps charge. Most cops will do thier job and all, but they also would understand out here. We gotta do what we gotta do, the police can't be everwhere at once, or anywhere instantly.
So banger dude sees the blade, not to mention that I have to wedge myself into my car a bit... "OH SHIT!" and he and his buddies run off. I'm just glad he didn't try to go over the car. That would have pissed me off if he dented anything. They stayed within sight, so after I left they more than likely went back to trying to get the drive through to serve them.
