Attn: Cat Owners - Help?

Since I've adopted my 15 year old kitty, Mevie, my parent's female dog keeps coming down to my living area and urinates in certain spots. I'm assuming it's a dominance thing. Then Mevie will mark those spots as well. And the cycle repeats itself. *sigh*
I'm wondering, what do you use to clean up cat urine spots? Have you tried different cleaners and found something that you think works better? I'd love to know! I know a lot of people use Nature's Miracle. I plan on purchasing an LED black light and majorly cleaning... so hopefully I can get a clean slate again.
Suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you~!

And its a terf thing. The dog is trying to mark its territory because there is something invading its home. While the cat is doing the same.
As for a cleaning product... No clue.
