Okay, Now I'm Excited

I'm going to be starting school in nine days, on August 30th. I got my two books yesterday and tuition paid for.

Learning Autodesk Maya (with the theme of Roadside Romeo)
For some reason seeing those books in my hand got my very excited. I'm going to finally learn to use 3D, I'm actually going to learn a bunch about illustration. Also going to learn about design, composition, color theory...
So excited! I'm nervous too yes, both on how I might handle the workload, the stress, and what kind of job I might get after, if I get one. It's such a thrilling and unusual time - like standing in line for your first roller-coaster ride.

Yeah it pretty much is. It's a fairly "rounded" course, with things in 3D modelling, rigging, and animation, as well as illustration, typography, writing for the web, self promotion, a bit of art history, audio and video production...
Yeah, I'll have a lot of new stuff to learn. xD lol
