The fuck heard around the world

WELL today was a big day. I got up and took out the Camaro for the first time, to go get the front end aligned. I live on 120th and took it to 104th where I noticed my oil pressure was around 10 PSI. Now, I never seen my oil pressure go that low so I pull over, throw in some oil figuring that since I have a MASSIVE oil leak I might have been running low.
THEN I couldn't get it to start. That battery is old and doesn't work with a load very well. It's an easy fix, I just don't have the money. I'm flat broke. I can't afford to even go put gas in my car at the moment. ANYway, the Camaro has always been a car that either you shut it down and within a few minutes you start it up again, OR you let it sit a good hour. Any more than a few minutes and it doesn't like to start because it loads up on gas. Even when the engine isn't running the hot engine is making the carb continue to squirt gas which floods it. I think my float levels are too high. Easy fix. Otherwise runs great. SO Rob comes and jump starts me and on the way from 104th to the shop about two more miles west I'm smoking bad because my valve cover gasket was dry and split. We spent the day fixing that instead of an alignment.
It took some work, but we did a lot of tuning and such and it's running great! It still loads up on gas at an idle, it's trying to flood but it's not a major thing to fix.
But... horror of horrors for me...
we had the Camaro up on the rack, about six feet up. Now what you need to realize is that a car flexes a little bit. If you jack it up from the front or back the car wants to bend ever so slightly in a U, sagging slightly in the center. If you jack it up from the center, like you do with a lift, the front and back want to sag downward. My door jambs were very close, almost too close. But I jacked it up a few times without the door rubbing on the fender. I did not, however, consider that with it going onto a lift. I open the door while it's on the lift and... it doesn't chip the paint. It tears a huge chunk of paint off. A chip about the size of my pinky finger!
"Wha? What the... you gotta be shitting me... NO... NO!..... FUUUUUUUCK!"
So I gotta talk to dad about that, so he can come touch it up. It can be fixed, so the anger passed quickly, especially after I blew the doors off of a yellow heavily modified Nissan Sentra... still... it sucks. FIRST day out and the new paint is goobered. I knew it would eventually... but not such a BIG goober.
Still, once the alignment is taken care of, perhaps in a couple weeks, we'll be ready for regular cruising!
So if you heard someone shout "FUUUUUUUUUUCK!" and nobody was around... that was me.
Oil leak fixed, ignition timing perfected, carb tuned mostly and needs float bowl adjusting... lots of little details under the car taken care of... not a bad day! Aside from the paint... FUCK dammitshitfuckyshittyfuckshitdamn!

OP
I'm still not liking that oil pressure. It's just above 10 PSI at an idle, it jumps to almost 50 when I'm moving but still... it doesn't seem to me it goes that low. All the specs on Nissan's high output cars say it's well within spec, and it's a hot day with a hot engine and hot oil, plus it's 5W-30 but still... I'm gonna watch it real close.

I should be thankful I wasn't there when the paint was compromised.

I didn't cast blame on anyone or throw a fit, I did it to myself. I did get rather vocal. Your hearing might have wound up being impaired!
