Broke the streak...oh well...
One of my fellow church goers was saying in sunday school that a preacher on the radio (on Wonderful News Radio 90.7 [Blue Water Area]) that a man had an out-of -body experience, and most go to Heaven, but not him. He went to hell! And he said it was beyond horrible!
He's changed (of course), but now he goes around and tells people what he saw...
If any of you know who this guy is, and/or find out if he has what he saw writin or (maybe even youtubed) let me know! I'm interested to find out what he saw...

The World Is Waiting
Read Philippians 1:3-11
Paul wrote, "I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ."
-Philippians 1:6 (NRSV)
CATHERINE Booth was the wife of General William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army. Reportedly, in the course of rearing her large family, Catherine would often tell her children: "Now remember, you are not here in this world for yourselves. You have been sent -- for God and for others. The world is waiting for you." Consequently, they grew up with a very clear picture of their Christian calling and took an active part in Christian ministry.
God has a specific purpose for each of us as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who declared that he came not to be served but to serve. Christ Jesus is our perfect example -- giving himself in obedience to God for the sake of others, both in his life and in his death. The apostle Paul's prayer was that the Christians of ancient Philippi would continue increasing in love, knowledge, and insight as they passed on the good news of Christ. Paul was confident that their obedience to the Lord's call would bring a rich harvest.
God has entrusted us with the role of passing on the gospel to a waiting world in our day. What a privilege and responsibility!

He had an epiphany waiting for me. I've been clean for 5 years.
I want to help others know, that at least if they are not willing to believe in a God, that they should believe in themselves and see that there are still things they can do in this world to make a difference in a good way or that they are worth something and they shoulden't give up just yet. I will pray for everyone <3. as much as humanly possible at times and I know God will hear my prayers. Just like he did that day five years ago. God bless. and thank you for this today <3.

one of my highschool religion teachers and I had a discussion on "The Gifts of The Holy Spirit"
i asked him which one i had and he in turn asked me "what do you love to do most?"
"Well, i can make people laugh and i love performing on stage" "then you have the gift of joy"
so i guess in an indirect way, me joining a community marching showband is me answering God's call.
In response to this article: slightly disturbing and i cant really think of anyone who may have had such an experience.

Dr. Eby is the only person I've heard of who had glimpsed both Heaven and Hell during his lifetime. He saw Heaven after a terrible injury/accident that should have permanently killed him. After recovering from this experience, he went to the Middle East and visited the Tomb of Lazarus. There in the tomb, the Lord spoke to him and gave him a vision of Hell to use as a cautionary tool to be communicated to others. I read it -- it was chilling.
The rest of the book is more like an autobiography, but it's still fascinating. That man lived an incredible life!
Hope this helps.
