i hate using references dosent feel like your learning anything unless it was stuff like real life photos for bgs and whatever

also because there isnt a proper standard anatomy for furries

Unless you're thinking of drawing something feral (with 4 legs), the only "standard anatomy" followed is pretty much close to the human body because that's just what "anthro" means, human qualities (2 legs, 2 arms), and the only anthro in this world that exists is the human. >w>

For example, in Akita, Bo-Gilliam and Kuron's muscly characters, you can see where each of the muscles are and how some are different from the actual human anatomy without actually looking off, and that's a style they develop. Knowing where to place the muscles and how to draw the size of their body frames come from being familiar with human anatomy, and if it weren't for the study of anatomy, how would their characters have turned out then? >w>

I should have elaborated earlier, but that is what references are for: whenever you're struggling on drawing something completely made up, then try first drawing/studying from what's already there and available, information that exists already (like your eye drawings). As a visual artist, everything was created from a reference, including circles, squares, and all those basic shapes.

yeah, and sorry i ment like the head not the just the anatomy in general my style doesnt go well with anthro heads which is kinda annoying :L

well actually i fought of it as "durulumon must protect little gurlys" =w= and cutemon is more of an annoyance to him anyway also because it seemed like cutemon likes him thats why i fought of him as a her
